Katee Sackhoff Stars in CCP Games' EVE Valkyrie
Posted on May 3, 2014
Katee Sackhoff has been announced as the star of EVE: Valkyrie from CCP Games. She is Ran Kavik, the leader of the Valkyrie pilots. Gamespot reports that is is not a player character, but the voice in your ear as you play the game.
Katee says in a statement, "The first time I played EVE: Valkyrie I immediately knew I had to be a part of it. Even with the roles I have played, it is the closest I have ever felt to being a real spaceship pilot. It is a truly transformative video game experience."
The virtual reality starfighter dogfighting game is being made for Oculus Rift and Sony's Project Morpheus. CCP says the game offers multiplayer dogfights, 360-degree combat action, customizable ships and weapons and rank and reputation-based character progression.
