Rovio Building Angry Birds Into an Empire

Rovio's Angry Birds is a huge hit with over 100 million downloads. Even the plush toys based on the game have been a monster hit - over 2 million have already been sold. Rovio has a tie-in game, Angry Birds Rio, with the recently released Rio film. They already have a tv cartoon, and possibly a film, in the works. The company wants to build a next-generation entertainment franchise.
There are also lots of Angry Birds merchandise on the way and in development, such as plush toys and hoodies. Take a look:
