Tapinator Partners With Discovery for Deadliest Catch Mobile Game

Tapinator, Inc. has launched a new mobile game with the Discovery Channel called Deadliest Catch: Seas of Fury. The game ties in with the Deadliest Catch series that has been running on the Discovery Channel for 11 seasons. In the game players become a deckhand on a ship during crab season in the Bering Sea. The free game is available for iOS and Android devices.
Players have to hook a buoy and then navigate the haul of crabs from the ocean floor while protecting all the lines and pots from enemies and obstacles. Players can earn currency, upgrade their equipment and obtain crabbing licenses during the game. The type of jacket can also be improved from novice jacket to master jacket. Players can choose from six different ships from the television show, including the Northwestern and Cornelia Marie.
The free game is available for download on iTunes here. The Android and Kindle versions are expected later this summer. Here is the game trailer:
