God of War: Ascension Announce Trailer

Sony has released an announced trailer for the next entry in the God of War series, God of War: Ascension. The release date is listed as December 31, 2013 on Amazon, but this is likely incorrect as Sony's product page says Spring, 2013.

The game will be exclusively for the PS3. The trailer alludes to the game being a prequel. The trailer voice says "There was a time before Kratos become a monster known as the Ghost of Sparta." Take a look:
