Upcoming Book About Battle Between Sega and Nintendo Optioned for Movie

Blake J. Harris has a book coming out about the epic gaming industry battle between Sega and Nintendo in the 90s. The book is called Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo, and the Battle that Defined a Generation. Console Wars is described as a business thriller that chronicles how a small company liked Sega managed to take on Nintendo, which had a near monopoly on the video game industry at the time.
Console Wars will not be published until May 13, but Sony Pictures has already optioned it for a movie. Variety reports that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are attached to direct. Rogen and Goldberg will also write the screenplay.
