EA Staged Fake Dante's Inferno Protests

Dantes InfernoElectronic Arts organized a fake protest at the E3 Expo. The fake protestors were upset about EA's Dante's Inferno title.
The game publisher hired a group of nearly 20 people to stand outside the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on Wednesday and appear to protest the upcoming EA game "Dante's Inferno." EA spokeswoman Holly Rockwood says the stunt was arranged by a viral marketing agency hired by EA.
The fake protesters claimed the game glorified eternal damnation. The fake protest organization even has a website here. It's pretty amusing but sometimes these publicity stunts can be confusing if they seem real and confuse journalists.

You can read more about EA's publicity stunt here, here and here.
