Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson confirmed to John Stewart on the Daily Show that he will be taking the lead role in the August, 2005 Doom movie based on the super popular computer games. Stewart was fired up that the Rock was taking the role and said that he stays up until 5 am playing Doom games. Gamers might have good reason to be fired up about the movie as well -- a recent IGN article suggests that the Doom film could inspire future Doom games.
